Please be advised that the following Statutory Notifiable Disease has
been identified within your area(s) recently.
Please note that the Map Square Name is that used by Ordnance Survey and
MAY NOT be the actual parish where the disease was identified:

Map Square Name: WELLS BY SEA
Disease: European Foulbrood
Ordnance Survey Map Square: TF80 Norfolk
Map Square Name: SOUTH PICKENHAM

Beekeepers and Bee farmers in these areas should be vigilant and examine
their colonies carefully and advise us if they have concerns.
Priority Inspection Visits of apiaries will be continued in the areas
surrounding those where the disease has been confirmed.
If you have moved colonies into, or out of these areas since your last
visit from the Bee Inspector - please advise us at your earliest
convenience.
Your help and cooperation is, as always greatly appreciated in
completing these visits as swiftly as possible.
